　　第一、先登錄移民局網站、簽證中心網站，查看一下申請新西蘭訪問學者的相關政策，做到知己知彼，在了解一下申請簽證的一些資料，做好準備。

　　第二、申請邀請函，出國做訪問學者，必須先申請邀請函，新西蘭也不例外，如果拿到的邀請函上寫明了，那么一定要申特殊工作簽證，填寫這個表格，在中選擇是表格填寫的指南，還要填寫表，這是中國人要填的補充表。表格在移民局網站下載。

　　第三、資料準備，每一個國家的申請簽證資料都不盡相同，但是主要資料還是差不多的。

　　1、戶口本復印件和英文翻譯件。

　　2、身份證復印件和英文翻譯件。

　　3、邀請函，把對方郵件發來的.邀請函打印出來就行。

　　4、學歷和學位證書公證件（中英文），也可以提供原件。

　　5、工作證明（中英文），找了學院院長簽字，工作證明中說明：訪學的相關費用由學校承擔和訪學期間學校保留職位，回國后繼續在學校工作。

　　6、護照復印件（多準備幾份，在簽證中心提條材料的時候，他們會另外要一份，在上面蓋章作為你取簽證的收據）

　　7、二寸照片（申請護照的那種就可以）

　　9、特殊工作類別材料審核清單除了一些簽證所需資料外，還有一些地方需要注意。

　　一、關于體檢，一定要到新西蘭移民局網站上指定的醫院去體檢，一年以內只要拍胸片的那種檢查就可以，不需要全套體檢，和醫院說清楚。一般要和醫院預約，自己打印表，帶好護照和照片。可參見：全國新西蘭訪問學者體檢指定醫院表

　　二、表格填寫，如果遇到簽證表格上的內容不會填寫，可以寫郵件到移民局去問，回復很快，基本是有問必答。如果是關于如何提交簽證材料的問題可以寫郵件給簽證中心。
